- [Richard] Hello everyone and a very warm welcome to this DAISY Consortium Information Sharing Day, where a series of presenters will update you on DAISY projects, member activities from around the world, and accessible publishing developments. Okay, let's get started. And it's my pleasure to hand over to the President of the DAISY Consortium, Maarten Verboom. - [Maarten] Oh, thank you, Richard. Welcome to all to this information sharing day. This information sharing day, which we have organised for members and friends of the DAISY Consortium. And especially a very warm welcome to the members of the board of the DAISY Consortium. I'm very happy to notice that the session is very well attended. I heard that even more than 115 people from different organisations have registered for this meeting. Today, in the first hour, we will learn more about the main activities of the DAISY Consortium. And this will be done in six presentations about important DAISY projects. Subsequently, in the second hour, five members of the DAISY Consortium will present their best practises. All five very different, but all five excellent examples of how the DAISY community contributes to accessible information for all. And in the last part of today's session, we will hear from the DAISY staff, from members of the consortium and friends of the consortium, what's being done to accelerate the global movement towards accessible mainstream publishing. And I hope that you will enjoy as much as I do the presentations of today.
